To obtain the degree, the student must pass a final exam evaluated by a commission appointed by the Council of the Computer Science Department. The exam consists of the presentation and discussion of the results of a written thesis prepared in an original way by the student under the supervision of an academic advisor. If the thesis work was carried out in a company or external organization (internship), an external advisor may also be involved. Through the final thesis, the student acquires further knowledge in the field of Data Science and Business Informatics, which is valuable for entering the job market and for pursuing further studies, such as a PhD programme..
