Students applying for admission to the Master’s Degree Programme must have a good knowledge of English (B2 level or above).
For this reason, they must submit:
- either a certificate of English language proficiency at level B2, as indicated in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and approved by the Council of Europe (see the page dedicated to international certifications, CLI–Linguistic Centre of the University of Pisa),
- or a self-certification following the templat
to the Teaching Office, by writing to didattica@di.unipi.it, using their institutional email address (username@studenti.unipi.it):
It is also possible to submit a self-certification attesting to the successful completion of the B2 level English language proficiency test at the CLI (Language Centre of the University of Pisa).
The test can be taken during the three-year degree course, but only after passing the B1 level proficiency test required by the study plan as a compulsory part of the course.
To help prepare for the test, students may optionally attend free 15-hour online courses organised by the University Language Centre and aimed at passing the B2 proficiency test. The courses are reserved exclusively for students of the University of Pisa and have a maximum of 70 participants per edition.
