Welcome to the page dedicated to the orientation initiatives of Computer Science in Pisa. The Department of Computer Science organises various orientation activities every year for both upper secondary school students and final-year and recently graduated Bachelor’s students.
The activities we organise include both initiatives that support the choice of study programme and initiatives focused on career guidance.
If you wish, you can take part in the activities scheduled for this year (description pages are only available in Italian):
- Incontra Informatica – Annual event presenting the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (March/April 2026 – to be confirmed)
- La Magistrale? Informatica a Pisa – Annual event presenting the Master’s degree offerings (May 2026 – to be confirmed)
- Informatica in Tour! – An initiative aimed at 11th-, 12th- and 13th-grade classes in upper secondary schools, which consists of in-person meetings in schools with lecturers and tutors to present the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, explore aspects of the discipline through lectures or workshops, and offer guidance and discussion opportunities with participating students. - 6/12/25: UniPi Capture the Flag 2025 – A jeopardy-style individual CTF open to upper secondary school students
- 20/11/25: Quantum Festival – Experiments, games and educational workshops to discover quantum computing for upper secondary school students (Education Track) and university students
- 9-11/10/25: UniPi Orienta – Three days of orientation dedicated to students in 11th, 12th and 13th grade of upper secondary schools
- 17-18/9/25: Career Days – Two days dedicated to the world of work in the sectors of insurance, banking, finance, consulting, large-scale retail and industry, energy and architecture
- 25-26/6/25: SummerCamp@Unipi – Orientation for 11th- and 12th-grade classes in upper secondary schools
- 19/5/25: La Magistrale? Informatica a Pisa – Annual event presenting the Master’s degree offerings a.y. 2025/26
- 9/4/25: Shape the future of health: professioni, percorsi e prospettive – Presentation of the Master’s Degree in Informatics for Digital Health (video of the 9/4/2025 event) a.y. 2025/26
