{"id":22945,"date":"2023-11-14T10:35:12","date_gmt":"2023-11-14T09:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/laurea-magistrale-in-informatica-e-networking\/studentsguide\/"},"modified":"2023-11-14T10:35:12","modified_gmt":"2023-11-14T09:35:12","slug":"studentsguide","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/en\/laurea-magistrale-in-informatica-e-networking\/studentsguide\/","title":{"rendered":"Student&#8217;s guide"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Admission pre-requisites<\/h2>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traduzione\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwibz8KJxMOCAxU-gP0HHe7LAY4Q3ewLegQIBRAP\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">To be admitted, candidates must have a first level degree issued by an Italian University, with a curriculum studiorum including the following minimum curricular requirements: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traduzione\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwibz8KJxMOCAxU-gP0HHe7LAY4Q3ewLegQIBRAP\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">12 CFU in total in one or more of the following scientific-disciplinary sectors: MAT\/01, MAT\/02, MAT\/03, MAT\/04, MAT\/05, MAT\/06, MAT\/07, MAT\/08, MAT\/09, FIS\/01, FIS\/02, FIS\/03; <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traduzione\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwibz8KJxMOCAxU-gP0HHe7LAY4Q3ewLegQIBRAP\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">60 CFU in total in one or more of the following scientific-disciplinary sectors INF\/01, ING-INF\/03, ING-INF\/05. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traduzione\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwibz8KJxMOCAxU-gP0HHe7LAY4Q3ewLegQIBRAP\"><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Candidates who have obtained their qualification abroad are also considered eligible, subject to verification of their qualifications by the commission that supervises admission activities, provided that the training path includes the completion of at least three years of study in Computer Science, Information Engineering or similar courses (Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Communication Networks, Information Technology, etc.). The admission of candidates with a foreign qualification obtained in a NON-EU country takes place in any case under the condition of verification of the legitimacy of the title held, officially declared by the competent Italian diplomatic representations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Traduzione\" data-ved=\"2ahUKEwibz8KJxMOCAxU-gP0HHe7LAY4Q3ewLegQIBRAP\">Students may be admitted if they may demonstrate a <span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">knowledge of the English language at level B2 or higher. <\/span><\/span><\/span>English level B2 is the fourth level of English in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.efset.org\/cefr\/\" rel=\"\">Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)<\/a>, a definition of different language levels written by the Council of Europe. In everyday speech, this level might be called \u201cconfident\u201d, as in \u201cI am a confident English speaker\u201d. The official level descriptor is \u201cupper intermediate\u201d.
