Subject to the statutory prerogatives of the Degree Examination Committee, the calculation of the final degree grade is carried out according to the procedures outlined below:<\/p>\n

  1. The graded educational activities included in the approved study plan contribute to a weighted average, which is converted to a 110-point scale and rounded to the nearest integer.<\/li>\n
  2. Activities without a grade and those not included in the study plan, as well as surplus credits, do not<\/strong> contribute to this average.
    In calculating the average, exams awarded cum laude<\/em> are valued at 32\/30<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. The final examination (thesis defence) does not contribute to the average, but is assessed collectively by the Degree Examination Committee, which assigns an increment ranging from 1 to 7 points<\/strong>, taking into account the quality and originality of the thesis, the oral presentation, and the candidate\u2019s overall academic record.<\/li>\n
