{"id":13146,"date":"2013-09-23T16:21:57","date_gmt":"2013-09-23T14:21:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/student-workers\/"},"modified":"2025-12-15T19:13:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-15T18:13:07","slug":"working-students","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/en\/working-students\/","title":{"rendered":"Working students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Students who wish to obtain recognition of their status as a \u201cworking student\u201d must submit a self-certification of their status, in accordance with the University regulations, within the designated period (see downloadable forms below).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Please refer to the current <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/redidattico.pdf\"><em>University Teaching Regulations<\/em><\/a> under art. 27, which regulates the figure of the working student.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"95\" data-end=\"206\">According to the University Regulations, the following benefits are provided for working students:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"584\">\n<li data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"322\">\n<p data-start=\"210\" data-end=\"322\">the possibility to take exams during extraordinary exam sessions (see the <a href=\"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/en\/extraordinary-exam-sessions\/\"><em data-start=\"284\" data-end=\"313\">Extraordinary Exam Sessions<\/em><\/a> page);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"323\" data-end=\"470\">\n<p data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"470\">the possibility to arrange alternative office hours and meeting times with instructors, beyond those normally scheduled for full-time students;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"584\">\n<p data-start=\"473\" data-end=\"584\">a possible reduction in attendance requirements, as defined in the regulations of individual degree programmes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The documentation attesting the STATUS of working students (and other profiles) must be presented in the following periods of each year:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong>1 September &#8211; 31 October<\/strong>: for the extraordinary appeals scheduled from 1 November to 31 January (download form <a href=\"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/richiesta_lavoratore_2025.doc\">.doc<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/richiesta_lavoratore_2025.pdf\">.pdf<\/a>&#8211; in italian)<\/li>\n<li><strong>1 February &#8211; 31 March<\/strong>:\u00a0 for the extraordinary appeals scheduled from 1 April to 31 August (download form <a href=\"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/richiesta_lavoratore_2025.2.doc\">.doc<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/richiesta_lavoratore_2025.2.pdf\">.pdf<\/a>&#8211; in italian)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">sending it by email to <a href=\"mailto:luigi.capuano@unipi.it\">luigi.capuano@unipi.it<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students who wish to obtain recognition of their status as a \u201cworking student\u201d must submit a self-certification of their status,&hellip;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn btn-dark btn-sm unipi-read-more-link\" href=\"https:\/\/didattica.di.unipi.it\/en\/working-students\/\">Read More&#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":21,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-13146","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
