The EU Erasmus+ Program for education, training, youth and sport allows students to carry out a period of study or traineeship in the member countries of the European Union and in other countries participating in the program, earning university credits. with the guarantee of obtaining recognition of activities carried out abroad.
The Program provides an economic contribution, and provides for two types of mobility: for study or for traineeship. The type of mobility must be chosen when completing the application.
Mobility for study
Mobility for Study is regulated by interinstitutional agreements stipulated between the Department of Computer Science and Higher Education Institutions of Countries participating in the Program. It allows students to attend courses at a partner institution and take the related exams, typically for a single semester or for an entire academic year. At the end of the mobility, the credits earned at the partner institution are recognized in the student’s career on the basis of a Learning Agreement that must have been approved before the mobility begins.

However for each call only a subset of partners might be eligible: the updated list of eligible partners is published on the Erasmus Mobility page.
Mobility for Traineeship
Mobility for Traineeship allows students to carry out an internship (curricular or extra-curricular) at a company or institution in countries participating in the Erasmus + Program. The Department does not have specific agreements with foreign companies and institutions, so the candidates must look for a location where to carry out the traineeship by themselves.
Mobility for Thesis
Both the Mobility for Study and the Mobility for Traineeship can be used to carry out a master’s degree thesis abroad. In this case, at the time of the application it is necessary to have identified an internal supervisor (a lecturer from the Department) and an external supervisor at the foreign institution.
